We would be lying if we said we didn't love a good party, so why not bring them into the salon? From makeup nights to birthdays and everything in between, Beauty in the Woods has done it!
From the very beginning, we started with a bang!
We celebrated with all the special people who helped this dream become a reality. Established August 2015, we hit the ground running in my small hometown of Mundubbera. I was very fortunate to have a supportive community that welcomed Beauty in the Woods with open arms. This was the first of many events...
Each year we outdid ourselves in the birthday department, never letting an opportunity to celebrate go to waste.
With Issada being our leading makeup brand since the start, we have been lucky enough to host some of their reps from the concept stores for exclusive makeup events. With hands on and personalised experience, these events have been able to teach even the most inexperienced people the basics of makeup. Not to mention, having fun doing it!
We know how overwhelming skincare can be, especially with how many brands and 'revolutionary' technologies have been coming out in recent years. That's why we loved creating our Medik8 skincare night where Paul, the Medik8 rep visited and showcased new treatments, products and tricks. With the personalised help from experts direct from the cosmeceutical company, events like these make the prospect of finding the perfect products and skincare regime a little less daunting.
Our biggest event yet, was our collaboration with Angelina from Honeycomb Hair Studio, where we hosted 141 beautiful women in a makeup and hair tutorial night. Held in the upstairs, exposed brick backdrop of Headrick's Lane, this night was one to remember! Here we showcased two simple makeup looks and two everyday hair looks. Every guest received a goody bag stacked with samples, product information cards and even a cute cookie. Catered by Headrick's, the food and drinks were ahhhmazing!
By special request, our clients convinced us to host a smaller, more hands on makeup event. Hosted at Dingle's, the night consisted of a hands on tutorial where Josie demonstrated, step by step, a simple makeup look and all the guests received their own mirror and products to follow along. It was the perfect way to learn new products, tips and tricks to add to your own makeup routine.
And not to mention we ate some pretty incredible food and drank some fancy drinks along the way!
But keep your eyes peeled, because have some more events up our sleeve coming soon!
