How soon will I see results?

How many treatments do I need?
Treatments will depend on skin concerns & skins reaction to heal. But most people will get between 3 to 8 sessions to see the best results.
How often do I need to have this treatment done?
It’s recommended to leave 2 weeks in between treatments to give the skin ampule time to heal.
Is the treatment painful?
Depending on your skin type and how much fatty tissue you have within your skin will depend on the sensation. But most people feel a slight prickling sensation and warmth to the skin.
Will I need any down time?
Micro Needling has next to no down time varying from 24-48hrs to be back to its normal self. But straight after the treatment you will have only slight redness, possibly a little sensitivity but will quickly subside.
Can you have micro needling done if you’ve had Botox and Filler in the past?
Yes! You certainly can, you do need to allow between 2-3 months after your procedure before starting the micro needling. But it’s completely safe to do after that time.
Home Care!
Your skin will be quite sensitive to active products for the first 3-5 days so it’s best to keep it simple. Reframe from using any really active serums or moisturisers. No exfoliating and use a good quality nourishing cream such as Medik8’s Ultimate Recovery. Once your skin feels less sensitive again your welcome to go back to your normal routine, but still be careful with AHA’s and retinols.
